Rent and the security deposit should be paid before or, at the latest, during the key handover. Keys are handed over immediately upon payment.
Yes, the security deposit is 3 months’ rent.
It takes 5 to 10 business days after the move-out inspection, provided there are no damages.
Yes. All utilities (heating, water, electricity) and high-speed Wi-Fi are 100% included in your monthly rent.
Early termination requires 3 months’ notice. Alternatively, you can find a suitable replacement tenant (Nachmieter) to take over your lease contract without penalty. Additionally, you can always contact support@rumyfi.com, and we will help you find a tenant; and in special cases, we may offer early termination.

Yes. You can officially register your address with local Swiss authorities using your lease agreement.
Yes, the apartment is equipped with a washing machine for your use.
We do not share tenant profiles in advance, but we curate living arrangements to pair compatible flatmates (e.g., students with students, young professionals with young professionals, or all-female apartments where applicable).
Yes, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas (like living rooms or balconies, if available) are shared among roommates.
Yes, standard in Swiss apartments, windows feature external blackout shutters (Storen) that block out light completely.

Yes, Personal liability insurance (Privathaftpflichtversicherung) is required for all RumyFi tenants to cover accidental property damage during their stay.
No, pets are not allowed in our shared apartments.
No, all apartments are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted on outdoor balconies with the doors closed.
